Clay Target Shooting

An Introduction to the Exciting World of Clays; Red Field Sports has been designed and built with the beginners in mind. A safe introduction to the sport of clay pigeon shooting in both a fun and personable manner.

Held here on our privately owned farm and set within our hay field, formally named "Cae Coch" (Red Field), here you will have one on one tuition with a Lantra qualified shotgun coach from our ''Learner Trap' or more advanced 'Trainer Trap'

Priced at only £35 per person for 15x clays/cartridges, £45 for 25 clays/cartridges, or £65 for 50x clays/cartridges. Group bookings also have the opportunity to play for our competition trophy.

Coaching is available separately at £40/hr and Laporte 'Flash' clays are charged at 60p each when providing your own shotgun and fibre wad cartridges, you will also have unlimited access to our Pattern Board to show pellet disbursement at a given yardage using various choke and cartridge load combinations for enhanced accuracy and consistency of shot.

Guns & Ammo

Personable one-on-one service from an ‘in the field’ RFD; qualified and experienced in shotgun coaching and instruction. We specialise in o/u shotguns, custom hunting centrefires, pest control rimfires, pcp air rifles, thermal and night vision aids, value ammo and precision hand loading components. Supplying game and sporting shooters, for both leisure pursuit and/or as part of Rural Life, open by appointment only.

Gun Storage

We provide both short and long term storage and are able to offer peace of mind whilst looking after your pride and joy within our secure humidity controlled stronghold.

Weekly charges as follows:

1x Gun £6, 2-5 Guns £5 each, 5-10 Guns £4 each, or over 10 guns for as little as £3 each per week.

To book guns/firearms in for storage, please notify us 48 hours before and ensure you bring your current Firearms/Shotgun certificate.

RFD Transfers

In need of sending/receiving a shotgun or firearms through a courier? As a registered firearms dealer we can arrange transport for firearms to be sent to another RFD for only £45 (inc courier fees) or £25 to receive.
